Understanding The Valance Matrix/Dimensions

Use The Matrix Below To Understand The Dimensional Specifications For Patterned Valances.

Refer To The Image Above When Reviewing The Matrix Below

Find Your Desired Overall Valance Length ("C") In One Of The "C" Rows.

The Top Number, In The Column With Your Desired Overall Length, Is The Cutout Length ("A").  The Cutout Will Be Centered On The Overall Valance Length.

From The "C" Block Containing Your Desired Overall Valance Length ("C"), The Far Right Number (Column "B"), In That Row, Is The Length Of The Flat Areas ("B") On The Left & Right Sides Of The Cutout.

Example:  Ordering A Valance With An Overall Valance Length ("C") At 30", Note That:

30" Is Found In The 6th "C" Row & The 4th "A" Column Of The Table.

Referring To The Top Of The Column, In Row "A", You Will Find The Cutout Length ("A") At 19"

Referring Back To The 30" In The "C" Row, At The End Of The Row, In Column "B", You Will Find That The Length Of The Flat Areas ("B") At 5 1/2" For The Left & Right Ends Of The Valance

The Selected 30" Overall Valance Length ("C") Will Have A Cutout Length ("A") Of 19", Centered On The Valance, With 5 1/2" Long Flat Areas ("B") At The Left & Right Ends Of The Valance

**NOTE:  Dimensions "A" & "B" Are Determined By Your Overall Valance Length ("C").  The "A" & "B" Dimensions CANNOT Be Changed Manually As They Are Automatically Calculated**
(See Examples Below The Matrix)

A* 9" 11" 14" 19" 24" 30" 42" 54" 66" 78" B
C 15" 17"                 3"
C 16" 18" 21" 26" 31" 37" 49" 61" 73" 85" 3  1/2"
C   19" 22" 27" 32" 38" 50" 62" 74" 86" 4"
C       20" 23" 28" 33" 39" 51" 63" 75" 87" 4  1/2"
C     24" 29" 34" 40" 52" 64" 76" 88" 5"
C     25" 30" 35" 41" 53" 65" 77" 89" 5  1/2"
C         36" 42" 54" 66" 78" 90" 6"
C           43" 55" 67" 79" 91" 6  1/2"
C           44" 56" 68" 80" 92" 7"
C           45" 57" 69" 81" 93" 7  1/2"
C           46" 58" 70" 82" 94" 8"
C           47" 59" 71" 83" 95" 8  1/2"
C           48" 60" 72" 84" 96" 9"

**Note: The "B" Dimensions (Length Of Flat Areas), Listed On The Matrix Above, Are Based On Whole Inch (No Fraction) Overall Valance Lengths ("C").
Any
Overall Valance Length ("C") Fraction 1/2" Or Less, Round Down To The Nearest ("C") Dimension On The Matrix & Reference Row "A", Above That Dimension, To Find Your Cutout Length ("A").
To Calculate The "B" Dimension (Length Of Flat Areas), You Will Take Your
Overall Valance Length ("C"), Subtract Your "A" Dimension (Cutout Length) & Divide By (2).

Example: If Ordering An Overall Valance Length ("C") Of 25 1/2", Round Down To 25" When Referencing The Matrix Above.  At The Top Of The Column, Where 25" Is Listed, You Will Find Your Cutout Length ("A") Dimension Of 14".  This Will Be The Width Of The "Arch".  The Length Of The Flat Area ("B") Dimensions Will Be Your Overall Valance Length ("C"), Minus Your Cutout Length ("A") Dimension, Divided By (2).
So, Your Overall Valance Length ("C") Will Be 25 1/2", With A Cutout Length ("A") Of 14", & Flat Areas ("B"), On The Left & Right Of The Cutout, At 5 3/4".

(25 1/2 ("C") - 14 ("A")) / (2) = 5 3/4 ("B")

Any Overall Valance Length ("C") Fraction 9/16" Or Greater, Round Up To The Nearest ("C") Dimension On The Matrix & Reference Row "A", Above That Dimension, To Find Your Cutout Length ("A").
To Calculate The "B" Dimension (Length Of Flat Areas), You Will Take Your
Overall Valance Length ("C"), Subtract Your "A" Dimension (Cutout Length) & Divide By (2).

Example: If Ordering An Overall Valance Length ("C") Of 25 5/8", Round Up To 26" When Referencing The Matrix Above.  At The Top Of The Column, Where 26" Is Listed, You Will Find Your Cutout Length ("A") Dimension Of 19".  This Will Be The Width Of The "Arch".  The Length Of The Flat Area ("B") Dimensions Will Be Your Overall Valance Length ("C"), Minus Your Cutout Length ("A") Dimension, Divided By (2).
So, Your Overall Valance Length ("C") Will Be 25 5/8", With A Cutout Length ("A") Of 19", & Flat Areas ("B"), On The Left & Right Of The Cutout, At 3 5/16".

(25 5/8 ("C") - 19 ("A")) / (2) = 3 5/16 ("B")
