Inset Door Mounting on Face Frame Cabinet
If you are looking at installing inset cabinet doors on a cabinet that uses a face frame and you don't want to use a mortise hinge, then you will need to use special "clip on" or "long arm" concealed hinges. Take a look at the image below...this pretty much tells the whole story.
You will need to mount your mounting plate on the back side of the face frame and then use a 9mm half crank "clip on" or "long arm" hinge.
